co-doku (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your  privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how  we use it, and your rights.

This policy applies to the co-doku mobile app available on iOS and Android.

Automatically collected

• Game data: Puzzle solve times, scores, ELO ratings,  daily streak, and in-game actions (cell placements, hints used) are  stored to power the app’s features.
• Guest account: On first launch the app creates a guest account with a random identifier. No personal information is required to play.
• Crash and diagnostic data: If the app crashes, a  crash report (device model, OS version, app version, and technical  details of the error) is collected through Sentry so we can fix bugs.
• Online status: While the app is open, a lightweight  online/in-game status is stored so friends can see you’re available. It  is removed when you close the app.

Provided by you

• Apple ID / Google account: If you choose to link an  Apple or Google account, we receive a stable identifier and, where  permitted, your display name. We do not receive your email unless you  explicitly share it.
• Username: You may set a display name visible to friends within the app.
• Friends and invitations: Friend connections you create, and game invitations or challenges you send or receive.

Push notifications

• Push tokens are forwarded through Expo to Apple APNs and Google FCM  to deliver notifications. You can disable notifications at any time in  your device settings.

co-doku is supported by ads served through Google AdMob. AdMob may  collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID) and  ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads, as described in Google’s Privacy Policy.

On iOS, the app asks for App Tracking Transparency permission before  showing personalized ads. If you decline, ads are non-personalized. On  Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device’s  settings.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the  service providers needed to run the app: Supabase (database hosting),  Google AdMob (advertising), Sentry (crash reporting), and Expo, Apple,  and Google (push notification delivery). Each processes data on our  behalf under its own privacy policy.

Your account and game data are retained as long as your account  exists. Online status is transient and removed when you close the app.  Crash reports are retained for up to 90 days.

You can permanently delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Delete Account.  This immediately and irreversibly removes your account, profile,  statistics, friends, invitations, and multiplayer history;  completed-puzzle records are anonymized.

Deleting the app from your device does not delete your account — use  the in-app option, or contact us and we’ll delete it for you.

co-doku is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access,  correct, or delete your data. You can delete your data yourself using  the in-app account deletion described above, or contact us at ml.parsnip.app@gmail.com.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date  at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after  changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
