co-doku ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

This policy applies to the co-doku mobile app available on iOS and Android.

• Anonymous user ID: On first launch, we create an anonymous account using Supabase Auth. No email, name, or password is required. This ID is used to save your progress and match you with friends.
• Game data: Puzzle solve times, scores, ELO ratings, daily streak, and in-game actions (cell placements, hints used) are stored to power the app's features.
• Device push token: If you grant notification permission, we store your Expo push token to send daily puzzle reminders and challenge notifications.

• Apple ID / Google account: If you choose to link an Apple or Google account, we receive a stable identifier and, where permitted, your display name. We do not receive your email unless you explicitly share it.
• Username: You may set a display name visible to friends within the app.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, camera/microphone access, browsing history, financial information, or health data.

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

• Supabase (database and authentication): data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt) region.
• Expo (push notifications): push tokens are forwarded to Apple APNs and Google FCM to deliver notifications.
• Sentry (optional crash reporting): anonymised stack traces only, no personal data.

We do not share your data with any other third parties.

Your account and game data are retained as long as your account exists. You may request deletion by contacting us at the address below. Deleting the app does not delete your account; please contact us to remove it.

co-doku is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@parsnip.app.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
